Marla's House of Hope
Marla's House of Hope primary objective is to combat all types of child abuse within Belize.  It provides nurturing care, counseling, education and empowerment to all victims of abuse and neglect.  To date, hundreds of children and over a dozen women have resided at this home.  This clearly indicates that the facility is fulfilling a role in the community to better the lives of many children who suffer from the effects of child abuse and neglect.
Through the support of the community and various humanitarian agencies Marla's House of Hope has recently moved into a new building that can accommodate up to twenty residents.
There are opportunities to do many types of volunteer service at Marla's House of Hope; however, due to the sensitivities of working at Marla's it it necessary to call before volunteering to serve.
